  This semester I believe my quality of work was okay.  For this being my first time using Photoshop I think I did an okay job, it definitely could have been better though. My concepts were good but with some of my projects, I could have added elements to make my work even better. I have done a nice job on completing my work on time but if I need to work harder and have it not completed on time for my best work, I wouldn't be too upset. I think I occasionally went beyond my first idea but most times I either stuck to it or did something completely different than my first idea.      For the effort element of my work I think I definitely would have challenged myself more and plan more rather than just jumping in and making something. I would occasionally explore variations of my work but I mostly stuck to what was easier. I wish I could have been more creative and been more proud of my work.      I was always productive and was on time to class ...

Identify what illusion Magritte created with his painting "Empire of Light". In the painting "Empire of Light" Magritte creates a visual illusion. When you look at the light on the street, it looks like night time but the sky is bright and blue. Magritte makes the illusion of night time during the day using the effect of the street light against the dark houses.
